Financial Literacy
FAKS will offer free or low cost financial literacy curriculum, courses and workshops for individuals and communities as well Minority and Women owned Businesses (MWBs) that will:

Build knowledge and financial literacy skills for all age groups.

Increase community wealth.

Build knowledge and financial literacy and best practices for MWBs.

Increase ability for MWBs to make informed decisions regarding their financial options.

Increase ability for MWBs to engage in best practices financial record keeping, accounting, and operations.

Increase the number of job opportunities for the communities in which these businesses reside.
Access to Financial Services
FAKS seeks to engage industry partners to provide low or no cost access to financial services and work with industry partners that will benefit lower to moderate income communities and MWBs that will see:

Increase access to financial services for all age groups.

Increase banked population in lower to moderate income communities.

MWBs utilize services that were previously unknown or unavailable to them.
-
MWBs build understanding of the different finance tools and opportunities that exist for them to safely grow their business.
-
A network of providers created that caters to the MWB market.
